We listen on the very edge of our seats to every word we hear our Father speak.
God, God, God,
Into my life You’ve come

Now I’m no longer alone
You’ve touched intimately my heart
Broken my pain filled past apart
Helped me to see the beauty
Of this world You have created
With all of life’s hurts, sorrows and joy
The losses I have known
The gains You have shown
With every twist and turn of our lives
There is a rainbow across the skies
I am so thankful God, dear God
That You never gave up on me
But stood there by my side
I think I even heard You cry
Between my own sobs I could hear
That quiet roar of Your heart so dear
Was it rain that fell on me or Your tear?
As I sat there in my own despair
Your tears oh God that wash away
The doubts and fears of yesterday
Allowing me to rise up in the morning
With a song in my heart I’ll keep singing
God thank You for loving me
God thank You for giving me
God thank You for forgiving me
God thank You for holding me
God thank You for dancing with me
God thank You for seeing what I could not see
The gift of me and being me
The beauty You created in me
The joy You have given me
The embrace which You surround me
The intimacy You desire and have with me
The love that joins You and me
As we become one, You and me
